A while ago Eric Pickles was discussing the frequency of refuse collection, but he referred to refuse as 'refuge'. I recently heard someone else do the same. Has anyone else come across this?

I thought the urinary system was called the urilay system for ages because of my Biology teacher's accent!

No, not just his accent, it was a recording and I rewound to check. Mind you, I called Barbra Streisand 'Streisland' for years and no-one seemed to notice ( or were too 'polite' to let on).
