I think I might be being a bit of a fusspot but what is with this aaaaaar at the end of words?

I give you:

  • und-Aar press- Arrr ( under pressure)
  • speak to the mana- Jarrr (manager)
  • the x-fac-Tarr ( Dermot tonight)
  • DS's new pal, Tyler, pronounced Tie-Larrr

Is it me?

Anything to do with which part of the country you're in? Everyone except me says that round here. Or, round yer, as they say Smile

I think it is regional, too. TEnds to be some Northern accents, I think. Like, say, Manchest-ARRR.
