Oh dear, moment of self doubt and need confirmation please. "Please find enclosed my husband and I identifications. Or "myself and my husbands' identifications"

"Please find enclosed identification for my husband and I" is my best guess!

I enclose my identification and that of my husband.

Or I enclose identification for my husband and myself.

In the second option, are you including yourself with your husband's identifications?

You need to take my husband out of it so to speak, if you want to check the right form of the pronoun to use. I is the nominative form, so you use it when you are the subject of the sentence. In this instance, you are using the possessive pronoun my identification so if you try writing the sentence without your husband in there to confuse things you will see that you can't use "I". "Please find enclosed I identification" just doesn't work. Making the sentence simpler "I enclose my identification" helps as well.

May I just add that I feel I have come home having found this section. I absolutely love it. Nonetheless a serious question. Thank you for your responses.

I agree, I have always found "please find enclosed/attached" unnecessarily cumbersome and always encourage staff whom I supervise just to say "I enclose/I attach". OP, sure the letter has gone now but I would say "I enclose my ID and that of my husband."
