Which one is correct;

"Each of us is unique"

"Each of us are unique"

I'd say the latter? TIA

It is not the "us" that is unique, it is the "each (one)". Therefore it is the singular "is", not the plural "are".

Yes I thought so, the latter (to me) sounds right but it doesn't fit does it....

But OP didn't say "we all", she said "each of us".
