I've seen 'donkies' recently too. It makes me think of a very small 'donk'. Perhaps it's the antonym of a 'banging donk'

i had a rep from haitch sbc this morning who seemed to think he was talking to myself.

I always think of that as the estate agents' "myself". I've never met one doesn't use it yet.

My boss does this. 'Perhaps yourself and myself should have a meeting to discuss this...'. I always want to ask if the selves of any other company members will be joining us as well

at least that's consistent! this man said "me and yourself"

oh i used to stand next to my boss in the bookshop when he'd say "ask for myself" to customers, blushing.
then tell him afterwards.
always wanted to correct him in front of them in case they thought i thought he was correct.

Yes, I would expect it from an estate agent, but not a bookshop boss.
