"Don't make teachers work to 68"

There was an advert from the National Teachers' Union in the newspaper today with the headline "Don't make teachers work to 68" (referring to the proposed increase in retirement age). Shouldn't that be "Don't make teachers work 'til 68"? Because of the phrasing I actually didn't understand the slogan at first, thinking it must be referring to section 68 of some new legislation or something along those lines.

Do you agree?

(I then got home, checked my emails and found an email from my dds' school saying that they are holding a 'parent's disco' (sic).

I would email back and ask why they were not expecting a big turnout to the disco and why was there only one ticket available.

Stupid bloody Unions (well we all knew they were anyway). Mind you, your suggestion sounds like they're saying teachers shouldn't work until they are 68 Grin
