Spelled or spelt?

Dh says spelt.. but isn't that a kind of flour?

and in this sentence is it "the word was spelled/spelt wrong" or "the word was spelled/spelt wrongly."?

Can you say I dreamt about Tom Hardy last night or I dreamed about… to my mind ‘dreamt’ sounds much better.

Either is okay.

Both are fine. As they were ten years ago when the thread was started!
