Hello fellow pedants,

After making a comment on a thread about my irritation with a poster's use of the awful " he dont", I come over to you with my tail between my legs and head held in shame. I just couldn't help myself.

By way of explanation, my father is dyslexic and is/was always eager to know when he had misspelt something, or used incorrect grammar. I married a dyslexic man and often mention errors to him similarly. It's all in the effort to be helpful, but last night my poor tired brain couldn't take anymore I was irritated that no one pointed out this repeated error.

I'm sorry and in future will keep it inside or vent on here. Is that okay?
