Decisions, decisions...

The current fad for 'taking' a decision, as opposed to 'making' it, is REALLY beginning to bug me. The BBC seems to think it is grammatically correct. Is the BBC right?

You can't take a decision, unless someone gives it to you.

Lib Dems probably take a lot of decisions.
