One which made me laugh - a mner was complaining about her bin collections or something and said she was going to call the council to complain. She spelled it as cancel. Can just imagine that being said in saft London accent, could see why she spelled it that way the dozy mare.

Here Here comes up a LOT on here. It makes me curl my lip.

Chest of draws.

Me too Shirl, I was trying to picture that scene in court.

Frexylady · 05/08/2011 16:33

In Swedish the word for cook is kock, so you can always feign a scandinavian slip of the keyboard.

SpottyFrock · 05/08/2011 16:33

It's got to be the MNetter who asked for help with her DD's wild hair stating that she'd already tried semen when of course she meant serum. Wee actually came out when I first read her OP! Grin

Cheria · 05/08/2011 16:37

This wasn't on MN but just before a friend's wedding I, as bridesmaid, sent round a group email which referred to us wanking up the aisle Blush. I meant walk. Obviously.

noteventhebestdrummer · 05/08/2011 16:42

I was pleased to see that a household appliance was a gods end and wondered if it was his BIG end...

Besom · 05/08/2011 16:45

Not MN but I once saw a report at work which said that someone had a 'collection of kinky toys' when it meant 'dinky toys'.

Columbia999 · 05/08/2011 16:51

When my workmate used to write the weekly menus for the home we worked in, we had beef buggers every Wednesday Grin

OfflineFor30Years · 05/08/2011 16:52

Didn't someone once miss the 'l' when they posted a message about not being able to locate their husband's ticking clock.

It still cheers me up thinking about that. Grin

steamedtreaclesponge · 05/08/2011 16:53

I was at a festival a couple of weeks ago and lost my shoes. I wrote an email to the lost and found and got one back saying "we found a lot of willies after the festival but unfortunately not yours..."

God only knows what people were getting up to Grin

My favourite is " she didn't batter an eyelid" Grin

< ponders how might one batter an eyelid >

Fooffy · 05/08/2011 16:59

Oh also advertised in the local paper " football boots £10 good condition, black and shite " Grin

fustyarse · 05/08/2011 17:00

agree with Spottyfrock the 'semen' one had me weeping

damn you autocorrect is unbearably funny

AbsDuCroissant · 05/08/2011 17:03

I don't think battering an eyelid is too bad, it's when you start wanting to deep fry it that you have issues.

I have lost many hours of my life to damnyouautocorrect.

Sausagesarenottheonlyfruit · 05/08/2011 17:07

I do enjoy when people get 'definitely' so mangled it comes out as 'defiantly'

"I will defiantly go to the meetup" Yeah, stick it to the Man!

MissPenteuth · 05/08/2011 17:25

I've seen people talking about 'pooty training' their DCs at least twice.

Sausagesarenottheonlyfruit · 05/08/2011 17:26

ooh ooh taking Umbridge at something.

J K Rowling has alot to answer for (notice what I did there?).

RedBlanket · 05/08/2011 17:36

Can't remember what the AIBU was about, something to do With shops putting stuff in brown paper bags. The first line of the OP said 'I was wanking in the street with a brown Paper bag'.

Cheered me up no end that one.

MissPenteuth · 05/08/2011 17:36

steamedtreaclesponge yours reminded me of this subtitle fail, supposed to be 'wellies' also.

ElephantsAndMiasmas · 05/08/2011 17:38

I enjoyed the recent thread title something like: "How would you go about getting a tattoo of a small boy?"

Cue umpteen posts linking to photos of seriously disturbing tattoos of children's faces.

Dillydollydaydream · 05/08/2011 17:47

Ah I remember something I've posted on here.
It was on a thread about confessions or something like that.
Anyway, Managed to admit to 'fiddling' in the shower instead of 'tiddling'.
Blush

NorfolkNChance · 05/08/2011 17:51

Our wedding menu had Roast Beef with bellowing Yorkshire puddings. Printed by the venue I can assure you.

They were strangely quiet puds that day.

mousymouse · 05/08/2011 17:59

so funny. sorry I don't have anything to add but am crying with laughter and my toddler is trying to 'cheer me up' by giving me wet toddler kisses...

HalbAndTwiceTheFun · 05/08/2011 19:25

I always like laxy daisy, and also the various spellings of psychic

usualsuspect · 05/08/2011 19:29
