Grandad or Granddad?

How do you spell it?

Granddad looks sooo wrong, but it's in DS' new Peppa book and it's annoying me!

Complete opposite for me Granddad and Granddaughter looks right.

Predictive text on my phone brings up Granddad and will not allow the other spelling.

Granddad makes more sense but Grandad looks right.

Granddad is correct, but I always use Grandad because it looks much better.(I think it is personal choice these days)

I agree 'granddad' is correct if you follow the spelling pattern from grandma and grandpa, but it looks so wrong to have that double d in the middle!

i would say personaly choice!

correctly it's Granddad, but Grandad looks neater.
