envy and jealousy

Does anyone else find themselves feeling incredibly irritated by the use of the word jealousy when in fact it isn't jealousy it is envy? Two different feelings imo (is that allowed in Pedants' corner?).

I love Mumsnet because I'm always learning something new. I never realised there was a difference. But I've just looked it up and promise to try not to get the two confused. (I'm not generally jealous or envious so I'll try and stay away from both).
