What would you do when your ds came home with a list of italian words some of which had extra hs in them (also told to pronounce c'e as "say")? Ds is in year 1 so it really does not matter does it?

Ask if they will also be teaching how to shout the words really loudly if the pronunciation is not understood?

Year 1 or year 13, it does not matter - teaching wrong spelling is unforgivable - take it up with the teacher. MFL should not start with 'murdering'!

If the school is teaching nonsense they should at least be sending home words like brillig and slithy toves, gyre, gimble and wabe!
