Thank you, thank you, thank you. (I am not alone!)

NoahAndTheWhale · 20/07/2010 21:05

I feel your pain.

But DS and DD say "should of" and "off of". I model correct language and they disregard it. ARGH .

TrinityRhino · 20/07/2010 21:06

its sooo annoying isn't it

desperatelyseekingrobin · 20/07/2010 21:08

Thank you

I read a post the other day and the entire thing was 'should of done this' etc.

I didn't comment as it wasn't appropriate but it drove me demented!

MummyBerryJuice · 20/07/2010 21:13

My DH does this and it drives me MENTAL. When point it out he just rolls his eyes. AARGH.
What irritates me most of all is that I'm a second language English speaker and he isn't, so he SHOULD know better.

whomovedmychocolate · 20/07/2010 21:21

coulda, woulda, shoulda.

SparklyJules · 20/07/2010 21:30

Thank you! I am constantly correcting DHs emails because he actually types this! Drives me potty.
