This is probably an ancient chestnut but "the DCs / the DC's?

Dear Children is already plural!

"I am giving the DC Nice Ham for supper" - CORRECT!

"The DCs are in the garden" - WRONG!

"The DC's pets are dead" - CORRECT!

(Sorry for morbid example, not sure where that came from )

Should it be DCren for the plural?

KatyMac · 22/07/2010 19:07

Or could it be DC'n (to make it nice & short?)

I'm assuming that the "C" stands for children rather than child otherwise posters tend to specify "DD" or "DS". But that isn't always the case is it?

Do like those suggestions though

I thought it could be Dear Child or Dear Children...either way
