I've bought a Lego Batman cake topper for my son's birthday cake (the peel off backing kind) but there are no instructions with it and I'm not sure what sort of icing you can put it on. Presumably it won't work straight onto buttercream icing - or rather my tubs of Betty Crocker frosting that I've got ready?!

I think you will be fine to put it on that, but do not store it in the fridge or an airtight container, as it may go soggy in container and will become very wet with condensation if you put in the fridge. Put it in a tin with the lid ajar, or a box
hth! Plus, make sure your layer of frosting isnt too thick, and try to get it nice and flat (obviously) so you can avoid the icing overlapping onto the topper or being too uneven and the topper breaking.
