13th Birthday limo party

Anyone had experience of something like this? What I have envisaged is - pick up by Limo, drive (the long way round!) to pizza place, eat pizza and get picked up by limo to home later.

This is for DS turning 13

How many kids do you think? Would an adult have to go in the limo too? Any down sides I have not thought of?

If I were the limo hire firm I would insist on an adult as well, but I suppose they may not.

I'm sorry, I think this is just ick. but that's only my opinion, ask me again in 7 years' time when ds is 13!

I suppose I would say no to the limo while trying to find out what they think is so fab about a large taxi, basically, and offer something more interesting.

It is not uncommon to see limos picking up from school in these parts

PIcking up from school is IMO a bit show offy but the concept as outlined above is not OTT compared to others we have been invited to / gossiped about!

I think that it is a shame to do all these things too young, it means that there isn't much left that is exciting later. A limo at 16 for the school prom is exciting, if it hasn't all been done earlier.
