My LO is turning 3 and pretty much into Roary. His birthday is this Thursday and I would like to make him a 3D Roary car. Was planning to buy one but feeling quite brave to take on this 3D car cake (gulp...)
Have googled how to make a car shaped cake & it seems that I need 2 loaf tin shaped cake.
Question is what do I use for the eyes, cap, wheels, small flags etc!? Also how to make the little hatch & seat?
Have found some old threads but it doesn't say what has been used.
Anyone with step by step guide for shaping & tips using fondant icing sugar (never used this before!) much much welcomed....
