HELP . 10 kids on a cycle trail in cambridgeshire...where to go

help is urgently needed. my DS is 10 at the weekend and we had organised a party in the local woods, west of cambridge for a party . kids bring bikes and they all have some fun for a couple of hours. i have just found out i cant take the bikes into these woods now so i need an alternate venue. thetford is too far away. graffam water is an option but the trail is 14 miles long there. any ideas please

I don't think there are any cycle trails near Cambridge like those at Grafham Water and Thetford Forest. All I could find was this on the Cambridge County Council website. You can cycle along bridleways (e.g.the Roman Road east of Cambridge) but these are all linear and cross proper roads.

how about any woods that are good for bikes, we were going to harlton woods originally as there are hills to bike down..
