DD is having a joint party with a classmate. We're inviting all the girls from their class(around 15 of them), dd has written out the invitations, it says the invitations are from dd and the other girl, but I am now thinking that people might be miffed at having to buy 2 presents and I don't know whether I should say that they should only buy one present if they wish to, or just leave it and see what happens. I thought perhaps I could write a note on the back saying to buy one present and we'll split them equally between them? Or put either dd's name or the other girls to buy for?

In hindsight perhaps I could've done half the invites from dd and half from the otehr girl?

Perhaps i'm overthinking it(I normally do).

I thought the best thing to do was ask mn

TIA

Leave it as it is to be honest as it is their problem if they don't want to buy two presents. They'd have to if you did separate parties wouldn't they? Some parents might moan that you are saving money by doing it jointly and they have to spend twice but they are not worth thinking about TBH as even shared between two I would hazard a guess you are spending far, far more than they are on the two presents.

Don't worry about it. They would have bought two presents if they were separate parties.

as I thought, i'm overthinking it thank you for the reassurance. People can just buy 2 smaller gifts i suppose.

They can buy full size! No reason why not as you would for 2 parties a week after each other.
