13th birthday party

now my boy is 13 in a couple of weeks and i'm throwing a party. i had it all planned out and was just gonna get all his mates round and get a load of meow meow. but now it turn out that it bad for you!!! how was i to know that when it is legal?! (we need to ban all these chemicals NOW) anyway now i know that meow meow is bad i need to think of something else FAST
i stuck for ideas, 13 a difficult age where he wont want a kid party but he cant really have an adult party
anyone here have a successful party for there son and share ideas?

I've just bought the licence to download a murder mystery party for my soon-to-be-10 yr old. They can be available for different age groups, and dd is really looking forward to it.

Didn't cost much, and set up will be about 1 hour in advance, plus printing invites, scripts, etc, about 100 pages.

Some food and maybe small party bags, and we're doing this at home. (Says me, hoping the weather is good enough to allow the kids so search for clues outside.....)

Lots and lots of pizza

DVD and pizza.

BTW even if legal would a load of stoned 13 year olds ever be a good idea?
