My eight year old loves cookery, particularly baking and I have been looking for cookery party organisers in the South West for forthcoming birthday. Not much around any ideas/suggestions? I'm in East Devon.

How many children would your DD want to invite. It doesn't sound that difficult to organise yourself at home really (and would keep the cost down)
Could make pizza for them to eat later.
Then cookies, which are dead easy and could get lots of cookie cutters for them to cut shapes.
Maybe fairy cakes / cup cakes that they could ice after they have been cooked.
Could even make houmous to have with the pizza which is super easy to make. They could chop cucumber, carrots etc while pizzas are cooking.
Can get disposable aprons here for children which would be great.
Knickerbocker Glories for pudding.
Take cookies and fairy cakes home

How about splat?
If you are not in their area they do a DIY kit
