help with chocolate sauce

i am thinking of having fruit kebabs with chocolate sauce dip for ds' birthday. but all the recipes i can find needs the sauce to be served warm and i will need to prepare it a few hours in advance to bring to the hall. does anyone have a recipe for chocolate sauce that can be made in advance?

I don't know one for preparation, but I have a mini fondue set that uses tea light candles. Could you use that?

Why don't you dip fruits like strawberries in chocolate, so they are half covered, and then cool in fridge, and then you take those with you. They are very yummy.
