Argos !!!!!!!

Last week i ordered a freezer for mum (she is 88) yeah from argos. I got an e mail to say delivery would be 18th March, between 7am and 6pm. It had not arrived bt 5.50 so I rang.....only to be told delivery had been refused at 3.30pm!! Then told it would be the next day about same time (3.30). Guess what? It didn't come. I was working until 10pm Fri. night so didn't have time to ring again until yesterday. Now freezer is to be delivered between 12 and 6 TODAY!
Watch this space.... I will tell you if it comes.

I had this problem with Comet a few years back. On 3 occassions I took the day off work to wait for a fridge freezer which never arrived.

I eventually went into the store and complained (rather than phoning), the fridge freezer was delivered that day and they let me choose a "gift" up to the value of £50.

Lol at you posting this in celebrations. Is it because you'll be celebrating when the freezer finally arrives?

Wish I could agree Captain, I was going to put that actually. But if I'm honest it was an error! Good idea though.

I ought to get a gift too,sb, as you did with comet.You don't happen to be male do you? Unfortunately, I do think discrimination is still around. Theres a new thread for you all!
