I am looking to get some party boxes for my 3 year olds b.day party for the food. Has anyone used them with success and wandered if you had any ideas for fillers that have gone down well

Thanks

yes - much less waste and made everyone feel a bit special - a couple of sandwiches, some hula hoops and a satsuma

Our Macdonalds used to give away their old boxes for use at parties, don't know if they still do. (Old as in with outdated pictures of the toy on, not USED boxes!)

Thanks for your advice. You have helped me to scale down my planning

Yes they were a great success at dd's party last year. Definitely cut down on waste, and the kids loved them!

I put in:
a couple of tiny sandwiches
a few carrot sticks
some grapes and strawberries in a plastic cup
a packet of hula hoops
a couple of Charlie and Lola biscuits (party rings!)
a carton of juice (which I put in the freezer the night before - they had thawed out by the time of the party and kept the lunchboxes cool as it was a boiling hot day)
