What can I get my dn for her 21st?

I have no idea what to get my dn for her 21st. Do I buy her something that will last - but what? Her mother and gran are both buying jewelry so I don't want to do that.

What else can i get? What do you buy 21 year olds in 2010? I'm too old to remember my 21st!

I usually give her money for her birthday so i was looking for ideas for something eelse.

She's at university btp. my budget is around £50

How about a pamper day together, manicure, massage etc?
If she's having a party you could do this the day before, and then nails are done for the party.

On my 18th my uncle bought me a travel bag and it was brilliant for lugging washing to the laundrette, weekends home etc. It lasted for years and was something I never would have thought of buying for myself at that age.

Somebody else bought me champagne glasses and again, they lasted for ages (dp broke the final one at Christmas). Nice wine glasses probably even more useful.

Or what about a really lovely diary (pretty pocket filofax or something) that she can re-fill each year? And a good pen?

Or a nice leather bag?
