We are having a party at home for my DD 8th birthday, she will have about 10 girls from school. I am planning the games/activities and have thought of one craft from bakerross, cake decoration and bingo. Can anyone give me ideas of how to organise the bingo? How many cards? any team? what prizes? how long will it take us? Thank you - the party is in two weeks!!

I would be horrified if my DD played bingo at a party, it is chavtastic at the best of times, never mind for children so young.

Bingo is really good fun though! It is so fabulously retro .I think 8 year olds would love it.I have only played once and I was about 8,I had a great time.Me and lots of old ladies.I won a chunk of cash too!!

Eyes down ,look in

I think it is a great idea. You can buy quite cheap bingo games which have everything you need. And you can use anything as prizes, cheap party bag toys, sweets, whatever fits your budget. The kids will love it.

Oh and I bet you could find the jargon bingo callers use on the internet. That would be funny for the kids.
