6th birthday party, do they need a take home gift?

Hi thanks for reading this. I am new here and was hoping people could give me their opinion. I have booked a magician for my DS 6th birthday. It will cost £225, and will be an extra £1 for each child (approx 15)to leave with a balloon model which i would like to give them all. I was also thinking of having individual cupcakes so they can take a cake home with them.
My question is do people think that i should give them anything else to take home, he can give them magic sets at £2.50 and magic wands at £1. I don't want the kids to be dissapointed but the costs are already spiralling and i thought a party at home was going to be cheap!!! Any advice?

IMHO that is perfectly acceptable and sounds fantastic. I still remember my magician's party when I was aged 6.
Balloon and cake is a lovely leaving gift.
Hope the party goes well.

Balloon model and cake is fine. You could add a little packet of sweeties or a funsize choccy bar.

balloon and cake would be fine. They just like something in their hand on the way out.
