I was wondering if anyone could recommend a venue in central London where I could hold my upcoming (40th ) birthday?
I am looking for a nice bar or pub where I could hire a room or a space for about 40-50 people. It's quite a big milestone, so I want to find somewhere nice and a bit more special than a pub - but on the other hand I don't want it to be a swanky / cheesy bar where it's full of trendies. The other thing, is that it will be just after Christmas when no-one has any money, so it can't be too expensive!
Am I asking for a place that doesn't exist??
