xmas party for 1 to 2 year olds

Hi all,
I didn't give a birthday party or a christening or a naming ceremony for my now 17 month old daughter and am thinking would be nice to have a bit of a xmas party instead. Especially since she has a little brother or sister arriving next year. I have no idea what kind of thing to do, can you have a xmas themed party in a soft play place or do you think it would be better to try and hire a room and do it myself? also are they too young to have a santa claus turn up? Not too sure if it would be a bit freaky for them all! thanks

Sounds like a great idea. Watching with interest as I'm trying to work out what on earth to do for my DS's 1st in a couple of weeks!

Did you go ahead with the party idea or are you still thinking about it?

You could maybe combine it with mulled wine and mince pies for the adults?
