Anyone any ideas where I could get a Fireman Sam cake, or even just a red cake?!!

Ask around. There are bound to be other mums who like to make birthday cakes for kids.

I own a kids cafe in N London and we supply b day cakes. Might be a bit far for you though!!

Alternatively, you could just buy a plain cake, buy some red fondant icing and cover it yourself.

Just out of interest, how much would you charge? For one that looks like a fire engine?

I don't see why not. Looks simple enough. When is the party day

skinsl · 28/10/2009 22:33

if I was organised, I could have practised and made one, or been early enough to order one of these cake toppers... party is on Sunday. Got all excited about M & S but they wanted a weeks notice. Have found a local lady who is going to make one £40. New year's resolution is to make birthday cake for son next year!! Thanks for your help.
