Has anyone tried the Pizza Express Make your own Pizza parties for the kids? My DS will be 6 and loves Pizza, there aren't many party venues in our town and wondered if this would be a good idea?

we did one for our dd's 7th birthday and it went down really well! the kids enjoyed making their own pizzas and eating them afterwards. One thing though - the actual pizza making does not take that long so you may need some other activities to keep them occupied. We took some colouring books and stickers to keep them going while the pizzas were cooking.

I haven't but looked into it for dd's birthday and looked at pizza hut as well.
The pizza hut ones did seem to give you a bit more for your money than Pizza Express (know it's a better name but the kids don't really care)

Yes, DD went to one int he summer. They rolled and strecched out the dough and then added toppings. Not sue what they did whilst the pizza cooked. Afterwards they all ate them.

DD enjoyed it but I got the impression it was very disorganised ont he staff's part at the start. Noone seems to know what was hapepning, etc. So do check out exactly what you will be getting and hw it al works first/

Thanks everyone, it was the bit while the pizzas were cooking that concerned me, if they all decide to get down and run around that would not be good. There isn't a Pizza Hut here, nearest is about 15 miles so Express is the easiest option.
