despite my numerous better alternative suggestions.

I've done the sheet with holes for eyes before. It moves about, so the eye-holes are in the wrong place and they can't see. Who's got a better way?

what about making a poncho with a sheet, a plastic mask from the supermarket and then a piece of white cloth over the head held in place (Like they do at xmas with the shepherd or wise men, whoever it is that has tea towels over their heads)?
