make sure there's plenty of the hard stuff for the parents. Especially if you're organising it.

ramonaquimby · 24/09/2009 23:07

i only do juice boxes or water

bluejeans · 24/09/2009 23:07

kwenchy cups

colditz · 24/09/2009 23:09

Juice with fizzy water to make it fizzy.

Or, if feeling mischievous, cherryade from Iceland

NotanOtter · 24/09/2009 23:15

just give cherryade at hometime

I'm doing a 4 year old party and am offering juice boxes, or cups of water

ohnelly · 25/09/2009 09:07

Cartons of juice or sugar free squash?

ChasingSquirrels · 25/09/2009 09:13

cartons of fruit juice (orange or apple), milk or water.
Just had ds1's 7th yesterday and had the same choices that I have given every year since his 4th.

NotanOtter · 25/09/2009 22:47

why cartons

serinBrightside · 25/09/2009 22:51

I think because they don't spill, at least in theory!

Nice big jug of Rock's cordial.

Clary · 25/09/2009 23:23

Rock's squash (free of nasties ) or water.

Several of my DCs' pals only drink water so that's a must please.

Stayingsunnygirl · 25/09/2009 23:27

Get several different sorts of fruit juice and some fizzy water or lemonade, and let them order their own cocktails - or even mix them if you are brave enough!

nickschick · 25/09/2009 23:32

You could buy squash and use fizzy water.

opinionatedmother · 25/09/2009 23:32

gin and tonic (for you afterwards)

halfcut · 25/09/2009 23:33

Bicardi Breezers

sunnyshine · 26/09/2009 20:25

thanks! forgot about this one!! went for water and squash and lots of kitchen roll to clear up spills!!

Milkshakes went down well at DSs' parties.

ohnelly · 27/09/2009 12:21

I use cartons because they dont spill & better for their teeth for it to be drunk through a straw apparently
