Any nice registry offices near Addenbrooke's Hospital? (Essex/Cambridge)

For sad reasons my sister is bringing forward her wedding date from June 10 to October 09 (a month away!), so that her future-MIL has a better chance of being able to attend the wedding.

Does anybody know of a more scenic type of registry office near Addenbrooke's hospital, or a nice hotel venue?

The Cambridge registry office isn't exactly great but the photo's that they take on Castle Hill always look rather nice. Registry officeis say 10mins from hospital.

No, I live in Plymouth, as does my sister. But her future-MIL is in Addenbrookes, and probably won't be able to venture far from there. If you could, that would be great, thanks.

So nicest and closes would be:

Chilford Hall is a vineyard in Linton, about 20mins south of Addenbrookes by car. Lovely setting but could be very pricey. Website here

Crowne Plaza - nice hotel in Cambridge. 10 mins from hosp.

Doubletree by Hilton Cambridge Garden House - Imagine this would be very pretty - down by the river. 10mins away

Holiday Inn Cambridge - In nice setting although close to A14. Would prob be a bit cheaper. 20 mins away.

The Quy Mill Hotel - 5 minutes from me. 15 from hospital, really nice setting. Had heard good reviews of weddings.

Swynford Paddocks - Gorgeous wedding venue. 25 mins from hosp.

All the colleges would most likely be very nice too.

Ruby - either really. A venue would be ideal, but we'd need a smallish venue as they'll be having a big 'blessing' now on the original wedding date.

Saffron Walden, 10 miles south of Cambridge, quite nice.

Thanks for all the ideas. Unfortunately my sisters' MIL to be is now quite ill, so they've gone for Cambridge registry office which is a close and easy option.
