6yr old party 11-1

DD is 6 in Oct and having a class party in local hall with entertainer etcetc.
I was thinking of having it from 11-1. Does this sound like a good time.
I just thought that then at least the afternoon will be free for us to spend time with other family members at home.Also it would not take up the whole day for other parents.

Sounds like a good idea - not too early at the weekend and also good timing if you are giving the children food. I've been to so many parties where they are expected to eat their "tea" at about 3pm when they are not that hungry so it all gets wasted and I still have to feed them when they come home!

What day of the week? I think morning parties on Sundays are fabulous!

That sounds great, nice lunch and entertainment...what more do they need?

There is something super cool about doing things differently!

I always use that time slot. Who wants grouchy, tired hungry kids at the end of the day? And overexcited kids who can't wait for the party to start etc etc. Go for it.

At 6 you may find other children have activities on a Saturday morning - ballet etc so you may not get everyone.
