How to decorate house for 40th bday party???? Help!

Need to help my sister decorate her house for BILs 40th. Was thinking of a vegas theme but really its whatever will transform it into a party venue for not a great deal of money. Anyone have any ideas?

Have you been to Matalan lately? They have a MParty section, it's called I think. Loads of inspiration there! It's not too badly priced either. You can get your ideas thee, buy a few key peices and work on other bits from your imagination.

How about some embarrassing photos from the past stuck on a big bit of paper? and some '40' balloons (cheap in Asda)

Good ideas. I like the embarrassing pics thing.

Even better if you can find photos which also have the party guests in them....
