Any ideas for something I can get my nephew for his 6th? It's awkward because we don't meet up alot, a few times a year at most, but he's lovely and I want to get him something really good, but don't feel I know him that well.

If I ask his mum she will tell me to get the latest Wii or DS game and tbh I just really, really don't want to. He has tons of relatives and will get those things anyway I just don't want to buy them for a 5 or 6 year old.

So has anyone got any ideas of stuff that went down really well with a boy of this age? Up to fifty quid is ok.....thanks!

Subscription to National Geographic kids?

Or RSPB, (get a nice welcome pack and free entry to their nature reserves).

Or treat him to a day out at the Natural history museum.

My DS is seven, and loves his Kapla (wooden bricky things). He got it last year and has played with it non-stop. There's a link here (I hope!)

PS I got it from Amazon!
