Party Invites - problems with MS WORD 2002 ?!

I know this is not the right website - But I am hoping that you can point me in the right direction please. ( or better still sort out my problem ? )

Microsoft Word 2002 problems.

I am making a party invitation for DD and DS and cannot drag WordArt text or imported clipart to different parts of the document. Each item seems to be anchored at the top left hand corner.
I am exasperated and the invites have to be out for the end of today.

crystaltips you have to insert a text or picture box first, then you can place the wordart text or picture into the box. Then you'll be able to re-size the box to make the text/picture bigger or smaller, or move it around. HTH.

Or select the word art, then on the pictures toolbar, select place in front (or behind) text. It's the picture of a dog with lines across it on the toolbar. Either works.
