Party newbie - list of essentials needed please.....

It's my first solo party effort for DD very soon [scared witless face!] - I remember a fabulous list ages ago posted on this topic of essentials to remember on party day - tis a church hall effort....stuff like bin liners that I would never have thought of....can any experienced party givers help please?

black bags
kitchen wipes
kitchen towel
knife
baby wipes
napkins for cake
disposable cups
drinks for adults and kids
cake
candles
lighter

do food in boxes - saves on waste and kids take their food boxes home with them if they don't eat it. put out disposable tablecloths on floor if want a picnic feel.

Thanks Twinklytoes....that's really helpful. Would certainly have forgotten something to light candles!!

You have probably already thought of these but things I find handy are:

something to play music on and a few cds/tapes

some balloons to tie to the door/entrance to make it easy to find

bubbles/bubble machine

loo roll just in case there isn't any left in the church hall

potty if you have any v young children there
