What to wear for a Superheros and Super Villains party?

I am rubbish at fancy dress parties. This one is even worse, because it will be mostly people I work with - probably only 3 women in 30 people.

I am late 30's, OK size 10/12 figure (no bust) 5'6" and blonde(ish), so really I should be able to wear most things. Problem is that I have no imagination and that for work dos (even non-fancy dress) I usually spend so much time worrying about not being too sexy (tarty?) that I end up frumpy. Who can help me?

If it was me, I would go as something silly - Dangermouse (improvised mouse ears), or all in pink as the Pink Panther. But it depends on your colleagues . . .

White suit, eye patch, scar and a white cat stuffed toy.

Funny would be good Takver, although I do like the idea of being dressed up for a party.

My first thought was Cruella DeVille, mainly on the basis that she actually wears clothes, but a blonde Cruella? Would I have to wear a wig?

Anyone think of any stylish villains where the costume would start around a black dress or suit? I know it's boring, but I'd go to town with the add-ond honest!

Is there a female equivalent to Clark-Kent-as-a-journalist?

Throw caution to the wind and go as Cat Woman, Batman's arch enemy and love interest
