Throwing a surprize party for my in-laws.
My MIL loves parties but would get stressed with organising it so we are going to yell them we have all been invited to a black tie do by mutuel friends.
i need ideas tho-
emerald is the colour for 55years but i dont want a st paddys day event. they are in their 70s so we want something quite elegant. i'm thinking all white/ivory tableclothes with tealights and something emerald but not sure what!
Maybe a cheese and wine evening?
the hall where we are having it ha$s a park for kiddies attached so they can play out there if we want to.
what about invites? how would i go about making my own and is the time frame the same as for weddings ie.6-8weeks?
it will be late august.
any ideas/ thoughts welcome!!
