School theme adult party - what should I dress my substantial body in????

I'm going to a party in a couple of months. It's a school theme, which really bugs the size 26 person that I am, because I don't want to do the whole short skirt thing.

I look cute in bunches and I'm happy to show my cleavage off a bit, but I hate the idea of short skirts and stuff like that.

Not sure what would be best for the night - there will be lots of hotter people than me, a good ten years younger along with a mix of variety of shaped bodies too.

Anyone been to a party like this and seen someone dressed in something cool that might work?

I don't want to dress myself up as worse than my normal going out self, I want to look awesome.

All ideas welcome?

I would go as a sexy teacher type, with mortar board and cane. Then you can avoid the whole schoolgirl look.

Can you not wear the 3/4 length trousers that they all wear with a shirt left open low and a loose tie and your hair in bunches. All the kids up my way are going to school in these trouser things. You know the ones I mean with the button at the bottom.
