It's our 10th wedding anniversary and we're wondering how to celebrate.

We're already going on a couple of family holidays so a holiday is not really an option. A weekend away on our own isn't going to happen as there's no-one to look after ds for that long but we could do one night plus the next morning without him, leaving him at MIL's or getting a babysitter.

Any ideas?

Some friends of ours are celebating their 10th this year with a big garden party, hog roast, and everyone invited to stay in their garden in tents. Obviously a bit weather and space dependent but still sounds pretty great! Can't wait!

What a fab idea thegoddess.
I love the sound of that but I think we just want to do something for the two of us rather than a party...will save those for our 40th or 50th!

dont know what area your in but we were condiering a train to york (an hr away for us) - then generally eating and drinking/ staying over and getting lunchtime train back again next day after a nice sleep in .....

Don't know where you are but we went to this place for our wedding night and then I went back to the spa for the day with some girlfriends after ds1 was born. We chose it because it is near enough to home to be only a short drive, but far enough away to be a complete change - you could combine the two ideas (i.e. lovely place to stay with things to do while there) if you can find a suitable venue.

Happy anniversary!
