40th birthday party - advice needed!

Having 50 people to my party and thinking about giving out name stickers which also say how they know me - e.g. Tom - Avril's brother. Is it a really naff idea?

Yes it is imho, sorry! Do people not have the ability to say, 'Hello: I'm such a body's manicurist and my name is Roger' or whatever, to each other?! I say this as a person who refuses to wear name badges on courses too.
