How many weeks before a party do you put the invites in book bags?

And do people rsvp like they should ?!

I go for 4 weeks but depends on school hols. And you'll be chasing rsvps forever! Try asking for a text reply - seems to be more successful I've found.

3 weeks - 1 week for them to be lost in the bottom, 1 week for the parents to remember to get back to you and 1 week for you to chase everybody.

3 weeks if it's a soft play place where you have to confirm numbers a week or so before

2 weeks for other parties

Most rsvp but there are always a load you have to chase up. And some still won't commit even after chasing ...

I post mine ( although DD has a small class)

and most rsvp quickly and some rude arses don't. I always need to confirm numbers so have excuse to phone a week before and say 'are you coming or not'

unbelievably rude of people not to RSVP but some twits don't. I'll never understand that one
