I don't think we can have 16 to the house, besides they are from two different camps, one school and one a sports club so won't know each other. Dd as recently been to some amazing parties, so we are struggling to come up with a reasonable idea that allows them to mingle with out breaking the bank.

Any ideas?

Bowling? Ice skating?

Or do what a couple of my friends did, have a 'school' friends party and then a separate other friends party, if space is an issue.

Yes, am thinking seperate parties might e neessary. Gulp. I wanted something simple and fun for them all without makeup or alcohol or elctronics.

I would second the ice skating idea. We did this for DD1's eleventh birthday last year and it went down a treat.

If you are doing separate parties, what about cinema night? Provide pop corn, hot dogs, copious amounts of fizzy drink and leyt them giggle and squawk in your living room with the lights out.

You could finish it off with a home made chocolate fountain (melted choc in a bowl with fruit and marshmallow kebabs) My dd loved doing this.
