retirement gift ideas

Am organising a gift or gifts for a colleague who is retiring. Small group collecting, will have c. £75.
Retiring chap has a fantastic (often brutal!) sense of humour, so hope to get some fun things as well as something serious.
He likes his food and wine, so fall-back plan for serious gift is something along those lines.
Any ideas, esp for humorous? (please don't link me to general gift websites, I've had a quick look at a couple of men's/retirement gift sites but not getting any inspiration and really don't have time to trawl through any more!). Would be interested in any ideas you've seen or given at retirement dos which have gone down well. Sorry being a bit vague about the chap as don't know him that well, so looking for general good ideas for retirement gifts. Thanks

In whsmith they had buy rent a row of grape vine gift boxes on offer I think about £10. You can go and visit your vines. You could register him several rows at different vinyards and buy him a couple of crystal wine glasses to do the tasting in when he visits.

I got my brother and BIL from The Book People, a book on wine, where from, value taste etc how long to keep it what to invest in. They both really liked it (both enjoy and are wine buffs).

Thermal undies! Inspired! Also like the idea of slippers and a cap. I suspect he's got lots of wine books, would be worried about getting a duplicate but will see what the others think. thanks.
