venue for 40th birthday party in Hertfordshire

Help! I have booked a fab 6-piece live band for my 40th in 3 months time but can't find a venue! Need a hall with a stage that doesn't have noise/volume restrictions. Does anyone know of anywhere? Starting to panic!

is st albans too far? the town hall is a fab venue - dont think there is a stage but they may have one to install

Thanks for all suggestions - have seen a community centre in Hitchin that is ideal - except it has something called a noise limiter, which might restrict the volume the band can perform at! Aaaagggghhh! These things are never straightforward are they?!

Could you not hire a marquee? The Grove at Watford is nice.
