help please, i'm looking for ways to make my dd1's 4th birthday on christmas day special. we are throwing a party for her wee friends on christmas eve but really just looking for some tips that other mumsnetters use for their christmas day babies, thankyou!

am watching this with interst as ds2 is 27th dec and feel like he'll be forgotton by friends and family.

My now 37yr old brother has his birthday 2 weeks B4 xmas, and NO-ONE is allowed to buy him joint pressies - has to be a birthday present then Xmas present. One quarter of the Xmas cake is iced as a birthday theme, rest Xmas and mum drilled into us the first thing we have to say to him on Xmas day is happy birthday

yeah, we always sing happy birthday first thing on christmas morning.
